IBM CED Description:
The Certified Enterprise Developer (CED) certification shows a higher level of knowledge of networks and networking. Once a student has successfully acquired the IBM CED certification you are qualified and more than able to develop and deploy distributed enterprise-level applications that model an organization's processes, practices, and concepts. A main concern of the CED certification, which should be is heavily emphasized IBM Training Guides is the designing, creating and maintaining Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition (J2EE) 1.3 components, deploying and configuring these components, and supporting the development of application clients that access them.
IBM CED Required Exams:
The exams required in order to achieve the CED IBM certification has an option of four exams: A four exam certification.
The four exams are as follows: the IBM 310-025 CED (Sun Certified Programmer for the Java 2 Platform), the IBM Test 486 CED (Object-Oriented Analysis and Design with UML), the Test 484 CED (Enterprise Connectivity with J2EE V1.3) and lastly the IBM Test 287 CED (Enterprise Application Development with IBM WebSphere Studio, V5.0)
IBM CED Recertification:
Each CED certification only has a maximum lifetime of indefinitely.
