IBM CD Description:
The IBM Certified Application Developer (CD) certification shows a higher level of knowledge of application design and programming. Once a student has successfully acquired the IBM CD certification you are qualified and more than able to create applications that run on any of the DB2 platforms: Linux, UNIX (including AIX, HP-UX, and Sun Solaris), and Windows, z/OS, s/390, and iSeries.
IBM CD Required Exams:
The exams required in order to achieve the IBM CD certification has an option of two groups of exams: EITHER a one exam certification or a two exam certification.
The one exam grouped together is as follows: the IBM 000-256 Application Development with IBM Rational Application Developer for WebSphere Software V6.0.
OR
The IBM 000-700 DB2 UDB V8.1 Family Fundamentals, and the IBM 000- 703 DB2 UDB V8.1 Family Application Development.
IBM CD Recertification:
Each CD certification has a limited lifetime. After this lifetime the student has a choice of recertifying by passing the current CD exams.
IBM CD Study Aids and Practice Exams:
Internet websites like the Testking and the mcsebraindumps offer a number of study aids for the IBM Certification, including the IBM Study Guide, and the IBM Practice Exam. Other IBM Training includes the IBM Bootcamp and the IBM Braindumps.
